In June 2013 more precisely on 21st to 23rd June, Mozilla Francophone held its first Meetup at Mozilla Office in Paris.
In two days so much were talked about and we get to shared a lots.
Saturday was dedicated for conferences and Sunday for workshop on different topics such as localization, Firefox OS, Firebug, WEBRTC, Womoz and of course Webmaker among others.
We landed in Paris on Friday 21 June and Claire was here to pick us and our friends from Senegal. After leaving our luggage at the hotel, Claire takes us directly to Mozilla Office. Waoh , what a nice office and such a cozy and relax environment.
In the afternoon, there was a site visit of Paris and those interested were invited. Flore was the guide for the afternoon and we learn a lot about Paris.
Many among us suggested that participants bring some specialties from their countries. So on Friday evening, there was a “degustation” moment of the different food specialties from different countries. There was a lot to taste.
So this is how Friday passed on.
Now moving to Saturday the meetup day. Everybody had their breakfast at the Hotel Ibis. After that we all headed to the Mozilla Office for the meetup. Claire open the Francophone meetup by welcoming everybody. Then she talk about how the meetup will be organized over the two days.

Saturday was dedicated to conferences on the several Mozilla products by the different participants.
At the end of the day, Claire has a surprised for us, a tour of Paris by bus.
When we return back a nice picnic was awaiting us for diner.
On Sunday, based on the different conferences held on Saturday several booth was organize to have practical workshop. So we get to meet the participants and gather more information what other are doing in their respective countries to share the word about Mozilla and learn from each other experience.
